Final Cut

An interactive comedy dining experience with a digital twist.

Wales Millennium Centre were interested in creating a new programme of unique experiences for their recently rebranded Ffresh Bar. The aim of the programme was to connect with new audiences and they approached us to design and develop a fresh take on a dining experience.

We created an event that invited audience members to playfully participate at different levels. They could unravel the clues and play a part, or just sit back and enjoy dinner while being entertained. The evening was designed as a multi media experience, which allowed the audience to interact with the action through multiple viewpoints and perspectives as well as seeing themselves as part of the action.

Before their arrival, audiences were invited to take part as extras of a new movie ‘Bitter Taste’. The evening would be the last day of filming and as the evening unfolds it is clear that tensions between cast and crew are high. The director is determined to get the film finished. One last dinner scene to shoot. Everyone just needs to get through it without killing each other….

An excellent night out, immersive, entertaining and funny. Theatre for all without thinking that you’re watching theatre
